Ocean of sorrow

My soul want to expose me
My faculties want to escape
This body of mine, constantly
Chasing
Running
For peace
For mercy

I dreamt that my heart is
righteous sponge not inked of
Sins
Sorrow and
Lies

But I woke up to the voice of my scream
Seeking refuge and constantly
Chasing
Running
For peace
For mercy

I tried so many times, at peak of dawn
and at night to unfriend my lust
to divorce this tyranny of my nafs
So here I am
Living but
Not breathing
